There are over 2 million active duty and reserve military members currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces.
They need your prayers.
Consider these 4 facts about the military:
- Military families relocate 10 times more often than civilian families—on average, every 2 or 3 years.
- Since 2001, more than 2 million American children have had a parent deployed at least once.
- More than 900,000 children have experienced the deployment of one or both parents multiple times.
- Bereavement experts report that for each active duty military loss, an average of 10 people are significantly impacted.
We have to ask ourselves…
What can we do to support and encourage future military leaders who will be making crucial decisions that affect every aspect of our nation? At Officers’ Christian Fellowship (OCF), we believe the answer starts with prayer—for military members and their families, for our leaders, for our nation. Take a moment and voice your prayers on our prayer wall below. (Or if you’d rather find out more about OCF first, you can scroll down or click here.)
Our military leaders and their families need your prayers. You may add your prayer request to our prayer wall using the form below. Once your prayer request is received, we will share it according to your instructions. God bless you. Father God, Praying that you would stir up Christians in the military in a mighty way. Put a fire for you in them so that they would seek a meaningful relationship with you and know your Word. Allow them to be the hands and feet of Jesus to those they serve beside. May they lead others to you. Heavenly Father, I lift up to you in prayer all military children and teens. These amazing military \\"brats\\" face many challenges from frequent relocation and deployments, among many others. I pray for them to come to find a saving faith in Jesus Christ, who is unchanging in their ever changing world. Father all-powerful and ever-loving God,
from before we were born,
your love has nurtured and sustained us.
Hear my prayer for my son, a US Marine in harm's way.
Keep him safe in time of battle
and faithful to you, day in and day out.
Bring him safely home to those who love him.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Heavenly Father, I lift up our military leaders, their families, and our nation to you. In Jesus' name. Praying for God's divine protection over all our military members deployed in harm's way; comfort and peace for their families and loved ones back home; and for wisdom and guidance for our military leaders—may they lead with the utmost integrity, humility, and love for those under their command. God bless all our troops.Anonymous
